I just ran across this in a KY newspaper... hadn't thought about it before.
If you give your HS a "directional" name, what will your MS be called?
North Middle? East Middle?
Image being the North Middle Highlanders or the East Middle Hilltoppers.

Agreed...no new middle schools, no new names.
But if you look at places like Sullivan County, which gave it's high schools directional names (South, Central, North, and East), the middle schools are mostly named after the communities they are in like Colonial Heights and Sullivan that feed into Sullivan South.
I hate the idea of directional names.
